Eastside Falls Short at Angola

The Eastside Blazers traveled the snow covered roads on Friday February 16th up to Angola where a back and forth battle through three quarters took place against the Hornets. Eastside fought back from down 10 points in the second quarter to ties things up at 30 points towards the end of the third quarter but eventually fell 41-62. Noah Acquaviva was the leading scorer for the Blazers with 12 points and 3 rebounds. Ryder Reed scored 11 points and played great defensively to lock up Angola's leading scorer on the night. Loden Johnson finished with 10 points, knocking down 2 threes on the night. The JV team was defeated by the Hornets 23-52. Konnor Johnson was the leading scorer with 7 points.
